Gift Planning
Planned giving is an excellent way to ensure Hospice of Northern Colorado will be able to continue to provide necessary hospice services to the residents of northern Colorado. Your planned giving should be a part of your estate plan and should be done through a trusted estate planner such as an attorney, accountant or financial advisor. You may also talk with someone from the Hospice of Northern Colorado fundraising staff in order to provide you with the correct name and address of our organization and to be sure Hospice of Northern Colorado is clear on your wishes. Your planned giving may be done in the following ways:
Through Your Will
If you chose to include Hospice of Northern Colorado in your will you may identify either a percentage or a specific dollar amount of your estate or an asset you wish to donate. You may give a residual bequest which specifies that after your beneficiaries have received their percentage, the remainder is given to Hospice of Northern Colorado. You can also make a Contingent Bequest which specifies that if your beneficiaries are gone before your death, your estate or a portion of it is given to Hospice of Northern Colorado.
